Then the Freehold Twp. Heritage Society is for you--we are looking for people to help us spread the word about our Township and County’s history!! You’ll have the opportunity to volunteer at:

Oakley Farm Museum-Wemrock Road-Freehold Twp.-300 years of history in one spot-listed on National Register of Historic Places-Host/Hostesses/Tour Guides needed

West freehold schoolhouse-Wemrock Road-Freehold Twp.-which opened in 1847 and was in continuous operation until 1935-host/hostesses/Tour Guides needed

Georgia Road Schoolhouse-built in 1862 but schooling actually started here in 1735-host/hostesses/Tour Guides needed

WE NEED A NEWSLETTER EDITOR ASAP—IF YOU ARE COMPUTER SAVVY AND CAN HELP US PLEASE LET US KNOW—NEWSLETTERS ARE DONE 4 TIMES A YEAR.
Also needed are handy persons for light carpentry, etc.; sound equipment operators for pavilion programs; hostesses for farmhouse and schoolhouses
We offer Letters of Community Service for those who need it for school (i.e. National Honor Society and/or religious groups)
We start our programs usually in April with open houses -- we need you for 2-4 hrs. 1 weekend day or weeknight a month through December.
We will train you to be Tour Guides -- no worries -- if interested please check out our website www.oakleyfarmmuseum.org or email us at ftheritagesociety@gmail.com
