About the event
Please join us for this very auspicious occasion to honor the sacrifice of all the men and women who fought for our independence. We are fortunate to have been able to recognize one of Freehold’s own who was captured during his first skirmish and became a prisoner of war. After much research we have been able to obtain a marker that commemorates Private Hendrick Williamson of Freehold.
Please join us and help kickoff our campaign for the ‘Monmouth 250’ celebration in Freehold Township. Come learn about the history surrounding the Burial Ground and the residents residing there.
